CatchOn TV App Tutorial

Installation Instructions:

Before we begin, ensure you have the CatchOn TV App installed on your preferred Android device. If not, follow these steps:

📥 To download CatchOnTV:

Option 1: Open the Downloader app and enter the code: 286983.

Option 2: Open your browser and go to: https://shorturl.at/Vhz3E

Activation:

After installing the app, upon opening it for the first time, you will need to select a Server and enter a Username and Password , which we will provide.

Select a server 

You will need to select a server from 1 to 3. A live agent, available through live chat, will recommend the best server for your location. This selected server will be used for all your connection.

Login Credentials 

After selecting the appropriate server, enter the username and password provided. Make sure to type your CatchOnTV subscription login details correctly. Double-check for any typos, including capital letters.

Login failed ! please check your Server adress, Username and Password

• If you encounter a "login failed" error, verify the server settings and ensure you've selected the correct one.

• Double-check your username and password for accuracy.

• If you're using a VPN, try disabling it or switching to another location.

• In rare cases, your Internet Service Provider may be blocking the connection.In this case, you can try using a VPN or contact live support to switch to a different server.

Home Screen Overview

Below that, you'll find your Favorite Channels list, PPV and VIP events, the Sports Section, VOD (Video on Demand) section, and the Music Section.

To access the Left Menu from the Home Screen, press the "left" navigation  button on your remote. From the Left Menu, you can navigate through the following sections in order: Search (at the top right), Live TV (for all Live TV channels), Movies & TV Series,  PPV & VIP Events, World Sports, and Music & Radio. To switch or change the channel category or find channels from another country, use the horizontal green bar with the left and right arrows.

My Live

To access all channels, press the "Left" navigation button on your remote from the Home section, and you can access all TV channels in the "Live Tv" section.

When you open Live TV, it will automatically display the last channel you watched. To change channels within the same category, use the "Up" and "Down" navigation buttons on your remote. To switch between categories, use the "Left" and "Right" buttons on the green horizontal bar at the top. Additionally, pressing the "Middle" button on your remote while watching a channel will bring up the channel list for that category.

Double-pressing the "Middle" button on your remote while selecting a channel in the CatchOn app will switch to full-screen mode.

The channel list is displayed on the left, on the catchon app while the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) appears on the right, below the video. Press the "Left" navigation button on your remote to access all channel categories and regions on the green bar, including USA, Canada, Locals ,UK, PPV, Kids, Sports, News, and more. You can also switch channels directly from this menu.

Add favorites

To remove a channel from your favorites, simply long-press it again. Channels will be added to your favorites list in the order you selected them.

Click on the "TV guide " Menu at the top on live tv or home screen of the Catchontv App o open a more detailed channel list and EPG guide. On the right side, you'll see the EPG guide for the channels you're currently watching. Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to change channels.

Record While Watching Live TV

To record while watching Live TV, go to Settings, then select Player, and make sure VLC Player is selected for Live TV.

Use record button to start and stop recording.

Schedule recording

This feature allow a user to schedule a future record.

To Schedule Recording/watch recorded click on Record icon

If you are opening for the first time, it will show an option to select storage.

Recording feature has following options.

• My Recording - Show recorded list

• My Schedule - Show future or failed schedules 

• Add - Add new Schedule 

• Select Location - Change Storage.

VOD (Video On Demand)

Catch On TV has a lot of categories for enjoying VOD. Such as Movies, Series, Replay Events, 24/7 Videos, and 19+ (Adult section).

Movies

On the Left menu, under the MY LIVE section, you can access the Movies section. In this section, you can find movies categorized by their genre.

You can also waych trailers  which can be found at the top of the Movies Section.

Series

On the Left Menu, below the Movies section, you'll find the tv shows and Series section for VOD. Here, TV series are categorized by genre for easier browsing.

Search Menu Guide

To find any channel or VOD, go to the Home page, press the "Up" navigation button on your remote, and select the Search icon at the top of the bar to enter the name of the channel or VOD you’re looking for.

Then, on the search box, you can search for channels, Webcasts, Movies, and TV Series.

To enter the Settings menu, you must enter the Parental Control pin, which is set to "0000" by default.

In the settings menu, you will find the Channel Package and Parental Control options and your access expiration date.

To enable or disable Parental Control:

Go to Settings → Parental.

Enter the default password (0000).

Long press to the category you want to restrict.

Press on/off button to Enable/Disable parental control.

Make sure PARENTAL CONTROL ON text is showing red.

At the bottom of the left menu, you can find the Settings menu.

In Settings, you can customize the player by selecting VLC or Exo, perform a speed test to check your internet speed, access parental control, update content, and more.
